Travex has been developed to help people discover places and things to do in a fun way. This can include discovering a gem in the immediate vicinity or inspiring someone to travel to the other side of the globe. It is the first platform that allows people to search for the best travel pictures that are indexed and are searchable by the location the picture was taken.
There are many hobbyist photographers and lots of professional ones too who take photos when travelling. Many of these photographs are not intended for commercial purposes but simply for the love of capturing the moment and artistic expression. Many of these pictures are perfect however there has not been a platform to showcase the best pictures taken at every location.
To find a great picture to add to one's own travel album is difficult because they are hard to come by or have been copyrighted and watermarked. We have been inspired by photo sharing sites and seeing how many photographers are prepared to share some incredible pictures that others can use obligation free. We have decided to integrate this aspect into our site too. This means that all the pictures can be used royalty free for personal or commercial use except to create a similar or competing service to Travex.
All photographers who share photos can create a profile with direct links to all their work, Facebook page and Instagram profile.
